New arrivals – January 2016 – both new paper flowers and new colors
New paper flowers
We have picked up some new floral supplies which are flower stamens – wire stems with white buds on both sides. They will be great for you who love making paper flowers. You can mix and match and recreate your own kind of flowers by using these stamens and work with our flower embellishments.
Some new cherry blossoms (star shaped) colors. This kind of cherry blossoms is sold out very quickly though. Some colors are already sold out and if you want them, it will take a while so get it while you still can!
We have also picked up a new color for this kind of cherry blossom too.
Many people love cream and ivory together. We saw this color and thought that we have to get it.
This is new arrival paper daisies. We personally like this kind of daisies. We love the emboss effect on the petals. Looking so cute!
And the new arrival is the largest rose size available – 60mm or 6cm or 2.36 inches (many different kinds of measurements).
We have just collected only two colors though because we weren’t sure if you’d like large roses or not. They are also available in pink, coral pink, peach, red, lilac…many colors really. If you’d like a specific color we don’t have yet. Let us know!

How to make a flower crown (No tools required)
Well, I know many of you LOVE DIY. Flower crown is one of the thing that’s easily made and many of you out there love wearing it on any occasion like wedding, photoshoot, prom, halloween, party or even on a daily basis.
My how to is so easy to follow. You do not need any hot glue to stick the flowers to the base. What you will need (as a tool) is scissor.
Of course you will need a crown base and flowers.
Here are what you really need. Very simple right?
Mulberry paper flowers can be bought from my shop both on this website and on etsy
You can pick any kind of rope or any wire vine base you can find at a craft store. Measure your head and spare the end part so it can be adjustable.
I use braid jute rope as I like the look of it.
What you will have to do is to attach, tie the flower wire stems to the rope, begin at the middle of the rope.
It’s up to you the colors you’d like to match. I just use red as a main and you can see the small rose base color is ivory cream with red tip and the next flower is ivory rose to match the small red tip one. I like using this kind of color as it gives more fun look. Sometimes I just make it all simple too. It depends on your preference really.
And keep repeating the process. Make sure the end of the wire stems are on the top/surface of the rope so it will not cut you when you wear it.
You only need scissor if you think the wire stem is too long. That’s ALL.
I keep putting flowers and stop it when it’s long enough for me (normally around my ears).
I then tie the back end with flowers and that’s it!
With this kinds of flowers, you will not have to be messy with the hot glue. I once got burnt from the hot glue gun so this is much better for me.
I LOVE mulberry paper flowers because they are very realistic looking.

These little rose buds are so adorable!
I really love these cherry blossoms. I love the shape of it and I was a part to design this one too. What do you think? I think this one looks most like the real cherry blossom.
Next is the new arrival. Mulberry paper yellow mum/daisies. Flower head size is 5 cm/50mm/2 inches.
This is a mini flower buds. There are not many colors yet though but I think this one has such a unique look. Flower head size is 1cm/10mm.

Paper sunflowers and daisies are now on sale!
These beauties are now on sale at a very low price. They will not last long and will not reproduced as they will be replaced with a new material for the center of the flowers.
The centers of these sunflowers/daisies are made of foam, tiny foams are glued to the center. Since the foams are glued, it may be slightly defective (see the last photo).
